Roman

I’m an art director and designer with a background in film and photography. I graduated from the Faculty of Film and Photography at the Saint Petersburg Institute of Culture. I work with brands, artists, and cultural projects, shaping ideas from the first concept through production and launch.

I’m drawn to the space where design, music, photography, film, fashion, and business meet. My background helps me see a project as a whole: not just a series of images or layouts, but a story they tell together.

I start by asking why a project exists, who it’s for, and what it needs to say. Once I understand the brief and its context, I build an idea and a visual language that can carry across identity, digital, photography, clothing, spaces, and events.
I value clear ideas with a distinct point of view. For me, art direction also means bringing the right people together, giving them a shared direction, and seeing the work through to the end.

I’ve worked as a designer, art director, photographer, and director. I’ve also produced events and built products of my own.
At Sever Park Arena, I led visual communications across signage, posters, banners, digital advertising, social media, merchandise, and collaborations. I organized concerts and parties for 200–350 people, from concept and promotion through to the event itself.
I’ve created merchandise for artists, including Kadis K5, and been involved in its production and sales. I also launched my own clothing brand, selling more than 300 pieces of a single design. That experience taught me as much about planning, production, promotion, and numbers as it did about design.

I’m developing my own projects in fashion, visual culture, and film. I’m open to working with brands and teams looking for a cohesive visual language — across branding, campaigns, shoots, merchandise, and cultural events.
